How we handle your information.

Cuisines Topspray collects personal information for one reason: to prepare the estimate you asked for and to follow up on it. This policy says what we collect, why, where it goes and how long we keep it, as Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) requires.

What we collect

When you send an estimate request, the form collects:

  • Your full name, email address and phone number.
  • If you choose to give them: your address, a message about the kitchen, and up to ten photos of it. Photos are resized in your browser before they are sent.
  • The services you ticked, and the time the form was opened (used only to tell people from bots).

Nothing is collected in the background: the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and keeps nothing in your browser. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and operations.

Why we collect it

To reply to your request, prepare and send your estimate, plan a visit if one is needed, and answer your questions about it. We do not use your information for marketing without asking you separately, and we never sell or rent it.

Where it goes

Your request is delivered to our shop inbox by email through an email delivery service. The site is hosted on a cloud platform. Both providers process the data on our instructions, under contracts that protect it, and their servers may be located outside Québec, including in the United States.

If you use the address suggestions in the form, the text you type in that field is sent to Google Maps Platform to produce them, along with your IP address, under Google's privacy policy. The suggestions only load once you use that field; typing an address without picking a suggestion works too.

We share your information with no one else, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and photos while your estimate is open, and for at most 90 days after our last exchange, then delete them. If you hire us, the details needed for the job and its invoice are kept in your job file for as long as tax and contract law require.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Write or call us using the details below; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Security and incidents

Your information travels over encrypted connections and is accessible only to the people who prepare estimates. Should a confidentiality incident present a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned, as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes with them, and the date at the top is updated.
